Founded Rheos Capital Works in 2003 following a career at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Jardine Fleming (currently JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management) and Nomura Asset Management. Has served as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) since the founding. Abundant experience as a fund manager with a deep expertise in small mid cap and emerging growth equity investments.

Mitsuhiro Yuasa

Founded Rheos Capital Works in 2003 following a career at Rothschild Asset Management and Gartmore Asset Management. Extensive experience in analysis and management of emerging growth stock portfolios and long/short equity hedge funds. Deep knowledge of Japanese and global asset management industry.

Jiro Iwata

Developed numerous IT solutions and served as a systems project leader at Toshiba. He became a director of I&AS in January 2004, providing systems consultation for domestic financial instruments providers. Subsequently co-founded Gaitame Online and served as the director in charge of foreign exchange transactions, leading the company to a leadership position in the industry through the implementation of advanced information technology platforms. Believes in the potential to implement information technology for statistical and basic analysis. Appointed director in 2015. Appointed Managing Director from 2020.

Miki Shiramizu

Began her career as an equity trader at Daiichi Securities (currently Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities), followed by Sony Life insurance and then participated in the founding of DJLdirect Securities (currently Rakuten Securities). Experienced in corporate planning, administration and the management of customer services over many years in the internet securities industry before joining Rheos Capital Works in 2008. Appointed director in 2009. Appointed Managing Director from 2020.

Joined The Sanwa Bank, Limited(currently MUFG Bank, Ltd.)in 1992. Joined E*TRADE Securities Co., Ltd.(currently SBI SECURITIES Co.,Ltd.)in 2005. Served as Head of Corporate Business Division and Managing Director Supervising Corporate Business Division. Appointed Representative Director, President & CEO in 2013 (present post). In 2013 appointed Director at SBI Holdings, Inc. and served as Director & Managing Executive Officer Director. Appointed Representative Director, Senior Executive Vice President in 2019 (present post). Appointed Director of Rheos Capital Works in June 2020.

Joined Japan Development Bank in 1971. Served as Head of Business Development Department and Head of International Operation Department. Successively held various posts as Executive Director of SECOM General Insurance Co., Ltd in 2001, President & CEO of Tomakomai Port Development Co.,ltd in 2007. President & CEO of Nakano Sunplaza in 2012. Appointed director of Rheos Capital Works in June 2016.

Rie Nakamura

While attending Kansai University, started female university student wake-up call business and became a student entrepreneur. After graduation, joined Recruit Co., Ltd., became a top salesperson in her first year of business and won the MVP Award. After retirement upon childbirth, engaged in marketing businesses, appointed to the representative of Demae-can Co., Ltd, and expanded the business for about 20 years. After leaded to a listed company, expanded the market capitalization over 200 billion yen. Appointed Senior Managing Executive Officer and CCO of Nihon M & A Center Inc., Ltd. in April 2021 (present post). Appointed Independent Director of Rheos Capital Works in August 2021.

Toshiya Kakiuchi

In 2010, while a student at Ritsumeikan University, he founded Mirairo Inc. The company offers services for disabled and a diverse range of people, such as the "Universal Manner Test" that teaches how to support disabled and elderly people, and the "Mirairo ID," a digital version of the disabled person's identification card.

Since 2016, appointed to an advisor to the Tokyo Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and in 2022 received the Zaikai "Management Award". Attended to the Advisory Council for the Special National Strategic Zone and has made recommendations on the promotion of universal design. Appointed Independent Director of Rheos Capital Works in June 2022.

Appointed outside Auditor & Supervisory Board Member of Sanyei Corporation in 2009 and Obayashi Corporation in 2010. Toshiki Sato

Admitted to the Bar of Japan (Daini Tokyo Bar Association) and joined Tsunematsu Yanase & Sekine (currently, Nagashima Ohono & Tunematsu) as an associate lawyer in 1989. Then, moved to London for studying and following obtaining a LL.M. at University College London in 1993, worked for Linklaters & Paine (currently, Linklaters) in London as a foreign lawyer and then for Asian Development Bank in Manila as a counsel of its Office of the General Counsel. After returning to Japan, following the work at two foreign financial institutions in Tokyo, joined the fixed Income division of Morgan Stanley Japan Securities (currently, Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities) in 2000 and worked there for more than 17 years (as a managing director of its fixed income division from 2011).
Following resignation from Morgan Stanley in 2017, worked for Japan Investment Corporation, the largest Japanese government fund, as its chief compliance officer and a managing director until August in 2019. In September 2019, joined Rheos Capital Works to serve as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Head of Compliance Division.

Shota Watanabe

Joined Daiwa Asset Management in 1997, taking in charge of Japanese stocks as an analyst and a fund manager, he also took a part in establishing Daiwa SMA project and started managing Japan small-mid cap equity since 2003. Joined Rheos Capital Works in 2006, he was appointed Head of Investment Department in 2015, Head of Investment Management Division in April 2021, making investment management decisions with Fujino (President and CIO) and Yuasa (Deputy President).

Mamoru Maekawa

After joining Economic Planning Agency (currently Cabinet Office) in 1982 took on roles as Secretary to the Chief Cabinet Secretary, Director of Personnel Division, Director General for Economic and Fiscal Management, Director of Economic and Social Research Institute and Vice-Minister for Policy Coordination until he left the office in July 2018. In Cabinet Office, he was involved in the Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy since inception. Areas of expertise include economic statistics, monetary policy meetings, regional development policy, countermeasures against declining birthrate, gender equality policy, and disaster management. Appointed adviser of Rheos Capital Works in June 2019.
